They have awesome customer service, they had everything I needed. Very quick and organized. Overall it was awesome! One thing was the parking but that’s all!
other than trying to find a place to park this place is awesome.. good prices and service. large selection and variety of stock. been there twice so far and will be making it my regular go to for all my produce.
Rude staff and very poor quality products. Seems like lowest grade rejects from other high end grocery stores. Staff seem uninterested in helping people out. In the last few days I’ve been calling to ask about an item and it’s almost like a script, we don’t gave it and I don’t know if we will get it. Like common this is a regularly shopped item at your store and I’ve been able to purchase it each time I come in.
I was introduced to Freestone Produce by a friend a few years ago, and I have been a loyal customer since. I love supporting local businesses, especially since they offer such great selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables at unbeatable prices. I have been introduced to some great mediterranean spices and flavours as well. I personally have never had an issue with customer service, and if anything I love the fact that they recognize a familiar face and greet me when they see me!
Today, I bought box of ORGANIC bananas for my kids. It was 25$. When I came home and opened the box, there was regular bananas. Really bad service!
I used to shop here occasionally, but found the place despicably filthy the last time I was there. Why is this place allowed to operate in these deplorable conditions? Where is the Calgary Health Authority? They sure monitor all restaurants.
I went to freestone produce today. the tomatoes they had out were very ripe. I asked one of the employees if they had ones that are not so ripe. He told me that they have some in the back. I went to the back, there were some in a box that were also very ripe. I saw a cooler beside the tomatoes and there were boxes of tomatoes there with good tomatoes. I went into the cooler since there was no sign on the cooler saying that it's for staff only and the door was open. Also the store has another cooler that customers can go into. I started to fill a bag with tomatoes and that's when one of the employees walks in and starts to shout at me saying:" not for sale not for sale" and gesturing with his hand for me to get out. I looked at him to answer, but he didn't give me a chance he continued shouting at me and told me You can't be here. this is my job you should ask me. I told him to not yell at me, but he continued to do so. I started yelling back and walked up to the store owner and called him over to talk to his employee. The owner came. My husband and the shouting employee were still going at it. The owner asked what happened we told him that I went into the cooler not knowing that I can be there and the employee started yelling for me to get out when he could have asked nicely for me to get out. The owner didn't seem to care much he just said that no customers are allowed in the cooler I said Ok I didn't know that and repeated that his employee could have just asked nicely, but he didn't care. I went to that store to support a small local business with my hard earned money. Not to be treated with disrespect
Great quality produce for a very low price. Excellent customer service .They have a wide variety of Mediterranean food .Had a great experience with them. I definitely recommend it..
We are hooked! After the first visit to Fresh Co Produce in NE Calgary, we fell in love with it. Everything we bought tastes delicious, plus they have knock out prices, organic produce upon demand, free delivery ... free smiles and stories.
