Inspired by the men’s underwear specialty shops he'd found in other cities during his quest for style and comfort, Steven Townsend proposed a joint entrepreneurial venture to his then restaurant co-worker, Rob LeBlanc. Thanks to this partnership men of all ages in and around Edmonton rejoiced when Steven and Rob opened the doors of The Briefing Room on Whyte Avenue in 2012.
After years of enduring limited selection and faceless service at department stores, or being disappointed with fit and style for those more adventurous shoppers who had sought specialty products online, finally men can shop comfortably for the best in underwear, the same way women had been able to for decades.
