Unfortunately we took our dog here once and he was not well cared for. The woman was cranky and was a heavy smoker. When we picked up our dog we were overcharged, he was very dirty, shaking and in a dark crate in a very hot garage where all the dogs were panting heavily. There were also a lot of chemicals and spills throughout the area and we could smell the harsh fumes. Granted this was a few years back so perhaps things have changed but we would caution to check conditions ahead of time.
Not sure who left this review, we are sorry you feel that way but this is very hard to believe as it does not describe our place. We keep a very clean kennel and dogs are not left in crates in a garage. As well during the summer we have fans to keep the place cool during the heat of the day.
We love Kelore Kennels! We have a high energy chocolate lab that requires a lot of exercise and attention--he actually gets excited when we pull in to Kelore. They facilities are beautiful and he is always well played with. Plus no matter how long it has been, the staff always recognize our pet by name. I would highly recommend Kelore. It is worth the drive.
These guys are great !! I was able to drop my dog off on short notice and I have no worries while he is there staff is amazing and my dog loves it there !!

Great Kennel
Can't say enough great things about this kennel!! This is the only kennel in town I will leave my dog. She is always so well cared for and I never have a worry. The staff are always polite and accommodating. Once while on vacation I realised that I had miscalculated the days I would be away for and called Kelore. They were able to keep my dog for an extra day with such short notice! The kennels are the cleanest in town I have seen. The staff always seem so happy to see my dog and my dog to see them!
Truely a home away from home for my pup!
When I left a message inquiring about their kennels, my call was returned promtly and kindly. They were very wonderful on the phone to tell me what items I needed to bring, the cost, and directions. Directions were very thorough and specific. I was slightly late for my drop-off appointment, but was treated professionally regardless.
I was given a tour of the kennels, and explained about the socializing process. The kennels were very clean, organized and the outdoor play area was amazing. I had forgotten my doggy pillow and they were kind enough to let me borrow a blanket for her to sleep on. They took an alternate phone number to contact in the case it was needed as I was leaving the country.
Pickup time was very flexible and when I got there, my puppy was well groomed, well fed and most important, happy! I also love that my puppy's picture got posted on the wall of fame!! You cant tell that Lorelei and Kevin absolutely love their job!! I will go back to Kelore Kennels EVERY time!!!!!!
I am new to the area and when I called for directions all I was told was "it is right off highway 40". I spent over 1 hour trying to find this place and when I called for directions again Lorelei was rude and very short with me.
She was very unpleasant to deal with and made me feel very uncomfortable and rushed throughout this whole process. The kennels themselves seemed very nice and my dog was well taken care of.
Overall, I will not be choosing to return to Kelore kennels due to the poor customer service and bad attitude Lorelei had.
My family and I went on a 3 week vacation and I had no worries about leaving our dog at KeLore Kennels. I knew she would be well taken care of by Lorelei and Kevin. Our dog enjoyed her visit and you would never know we left her behind. I know a number of people who have used this kennel and have only good things to say. I would highly recommend KeLore Kennels and will definitly take our dog back during our next vacation!!!
I have had all 3 of my dogs at Kelore Kennels. My dogs are extremely precious to me and I worry leaving them to go away for even a weekend. I have 2 Yorkie/Shitzus (Tessa & Zoe) and a Bloodhound (Gracie). When we pick them up from Kelore Kennels they are exactly the way they are at home - happy as can be and healthy! They love Kevin and Lorelei! They get great exercise and attention while they stay there. I feel very confident and rest assured leaving my babies at Kelore Kennels.
Kevin and Lorelei get to know every dog. After a ten day stay they knew each of our dogs very well. The dogs were happy and relaxed with lots of outdoor playtime. They even finished giving medication for an ear infection. We were very pleased and will go back anytime.
Lorelei and Kevin are wonderful hosts to our two Golden Retrievers. The location is quiet and their facility is always immaculately clean. The inside runs are a great size even for the biggest dogs. In the warmer months the attached outside part of the runs are opened to allow the dogs fresh air and visual interaction with the other furry guests. The dogs are also regularly let out, into the play area. They try very hard to make your dog feel at home and as comfortable as possible. They are flexible with feeding regimes (ours mainly eat a RAW/BARF diet). Our boys go in happy and come out happy with tails wagging. We wouldn't trust our boys with anyone else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
