A pest infestation is a dreaded scenario that most homeowners hope never to encounter. But when such a situation arises, the key question is: how will you deal with it?
“I put myself in my clients’ shoes, and figured, well if it was my house, what would I want?” asks Peter, manager of Care Pest & Wildlife Control. “Would I just want the rats gone for now, or would I maybe want them gone forever?” For Peter, the answer is simple, and so he adopted an approach that goes beyond the standard, conventional methods of pest control.
“It is, of course, about immediate control,” Peter explains. “We get rid of existing populations, but then we try to prevent a future population from coming back.” The Care Pest & Wildlife Control team accomplishes this by conducting point-of-entry inspections; cleaning up attics, crawlspaces and other hazardous areas; and providing educational seminars to let clients know how to proactively prevent future infestations.
“It’s a way more comprehensive program – a more holistic approach to pest and wildlife control,” Peter stresses.
