I have been visiting GM Resturant for over 15 years and the food is always awesome, the staff is friendly and efficient. I'd recommend The GM to anyone who likes Indian food or is curious about trying some.
This is the best Indian food in the lower mainland!!
I have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the world and GM is right up there.
Your are made to feel welcome and on fact greeted by the owner with the words " welcome Home"
When they are busy you may have to be patient and relax but it is worth it.
Some friends and I went to GM a few days ago and they were busy. It wasn't my first time. The food was amazing! The staff was very friendly. It was a little busy in the restaurant, but that's atmosphere so no problem. Parking is pretty hard to find however. We had an great time, and I would recommend this place to anyone into Indian.
They also have takeout if you find it too busy.
Last time we ordered at GM, was the last time! Mainly because the Vegetable Pakora smelled very strongly of mold! (Ordered take out from there a few months later and the same smell....YUCK!) Plus even though they are very nice, they need to take OFF their dirty aprons when serving the front. Quite the turn off....I'll stick to Bombay!!!
Very tasty. What a great place! I ordered take out when the family was away. It was quick, inexpensive and delicious. The atmosphere is unassuming, the staff is friendly and the food quality is high.
