“I was tired of seeing the old paradigm of starving artists,” Bird On A Wire Creations owner Kate Nagel says. “I want to see thriving artists. Once that idea hit me, I let it gestate. When the time came, I opened the shop.”
Since 2010, Bird On A Wire has supplied Vancouverites and visitors alike with the work of artists from Vancouver and its neighbouring cities. It is a year-round craft market that features work by professional and experienced artists. Both for the community and for the artists, the business works to keep everyone thriving.
