Circle Craft Shop and Gallery seems right at home on artistic Granville Island in Vancouver. The shop is full of uniquely curated arts and crafts made by some of British Columbia’s most talented artisans. Inside you can find any number of treasures including vases, pottery, scarves, jewellery and a wide range of gifts that would please any friend or family member.
Started in 1972 by Yetta Lees, Circle Craft was originally a craft market in Victoria before transferring to Vancouver. Today, Circle Craft’s unique concept runs as a co-operative, providing an opportunity for artists to unite, create, design and sell through a successful business that offers shoppers a wide selection at varied price points. Co-op and store manager, Kathryn Youngs is an artist herself, specializing in sculpture. After being a member of the co-op for several years, she now manages the day-to-day operations.
