"Don't get carried away with those song requests at your wedding." This is the sound advice from Fusion DJ Entertainment owner and internationally acclaimed DJ Jason Mascarenhas. Jason, more often recognized by his stage name DJ Wax, has seen bridal parties choose music based on sentimentality rather than what their guests are likely to enjoy. "Music played during the meal should set the stage for people wanting to get up and dance later," says Jason.
Fusion DJ Entertainment is available for any special occasion that requires music, especially dance music. "I just want to make people dance," says Jason. And it's not just about turning up with a computer and some digital music. "First, I want to meet with the person responsible for the event face to face," he explains. "I want to get a feel for them and the event. We'll talk about how the whole event or day will unfold, who the caterers are, the demographics of the invited guests and so on. Then I'll customize the right package for them."
Customization is one of the things that sets Fusion DJ Entertainment apart from its competition. "We have an amazing music database," Jason notes. "We do our own mixing and even take some of the older songs and revamp them to make them more danceable." Every music list from Fusion is customized to the event and the people attending. "There's no one-size fits all."
