    Dr. Mcdonald and her staff are not only knowledgeable but, equally as important caring. They are the first place you should consider for the healing, care and keeping for your bird.

    A knowledgeable and thorough avian specialist.

    Last year a beloved companion bird got a Megabacter infection and we found him near death on the floor of his cage. We took him to the Nite Owl Bird Hospital and Dr. Macdonald made a diagnosis and successfully treated our bird. He is alive and healthy today. A few weeks ago another of our birds ingested foreign material (bits of plastic and liquorice) and was suffering from a blockage. Another trip to Nite Owl. Another disagnosis and treatment. The Nite Owl clinic is well equipped and Dr. Macdonald is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced avian specialists in Canada.
