We had dinner at the Windermere Café a week ago. The service was friendly but very armature and the food was just so-so. I think there is opportunity for the Windermere Café to improve and become a destination spot. I wish them all the best.
Came here with a group of people and I had the all you can eat prime rib dinner and it was amazing! You get soup of the day, salad bar with a good amount of choices, roasted potatoes, mixed greens, vegetarian pasta, and of course the prime rib! The food is actually really good and the prime rib with some au jus on it is to die for! Service is very quick and friendly as well, and the restaurant itself is really nice but kinda small. All in all the meal was good and I would reccomend it to anyone, just book ahead of time because it tends to be busy.
I have ate here several times for lunch and dinner for the last 5 years and can't believe there is no comments. I haven't had a bad meal there yet. This is a awesome restaurant. The food is great. The Kiwi salad is my favourite. Even though this cafe is in the big city it feels like your in the country when you arrive there. I have taken many friends and family and they all love it when we go.
