Wow food is awesome here its very tasty, I will definitely be going back. I love the differenty curries and very delicous naans wow love it and its very affordable very nice server quick and efficient.

WOW DELICOUS

The food was absolutely delicous the curries all tasted extremely tastey, The place is very clean service is spectacular. The gentleman serving extremely nice. I would recommend this food to eveyone who likes indian food is very mouth watering. Some of the feedback must be coming from people who have alot of hot air in the system got nothing better to do than bash good restaurants. Eat at this restaurant its delicous.

The food was excellent curries all bang on excellent service plates cleaned quickly. The place is very nice, the food delicous and scruptious. People better re-examine there taste buds because the food is very good, I tried every buffet in the city and this place stands out. Keep up the good work.

Disappointing food, empty restaurant.

Disappointing food, empty restaurant. we bought the groupon deal which looked straighforward enough. then we got two further groupon revisions emails saying that the phone number is wrong and that a reservation is an absolute MUST. clearly, groupon or the restaurant needs to get their act together. then i read some reviews about how the owner and waiters would berate anyone with no reservation in an almost empty restaurant so i made sure i had a reservation. when i arrived, i made sure the waiter knew we had a reservation and a groupon but he did not even bother checking his reservation book after all the boohaha! the restaurant was completely empty at noon. the food was plentiful with many vegetarian and meat dishes, however, many dishes were not very appetizing. in fact, the butter chicken was like a runny spicy campbell tomato soup (which other reviewers thought was strange too) and another chicken curry had no chicken in it at all, just chucks of hard boiled egg! the service was fine though it felt awkward to be served in an completely empty restaurant for almost the entire meal. when the staff outnumber you, you have to wonder. because of the groupon, the 15% tip on the pre-discount price (though not advertised) is mandatory but that is understandable. overall, it was adequate but there are much better indian buffets out there for similar pricing without crazy, non-sensical reservation rules.

6 months ago I held a function at the Mumbai Sapphire banquette room. I must say this place does NOT even deserve ONE star. Here is why: -The event was to start at 11am. When we arrived, no one was present. We waited for 15 minutes for someone to arrive. -Some of the tables had glasses while others did not. I politely asked the waiter to please place water glasses for each seat. A total of approximately 20 glasses were yet to be set. The waiter dragged his feet and held each glass with at least one of his fingers placed inside the glass, thus contaminating the glass, before setting the glass on the table. This simple task took him nearly 45 minutes to complete. -The waiter and manager were dressed inappropriately. The waiter who set up the glasses looked like a bum off the street: black jeans, black toque, casual sweater over a T-shirt. He was rude, too. You ask him a question and he just stares at you blankly with this menacing look on his face. Why do people like this get jobs that require constant (and pleasant) interaction with the public? If he had been working as a prison guard or a bouncer in some seedy club, it would have been a perfect fit. -Many of the table cloths and handkerchiefs set on the tables were dirty with food particles and stains. When we asked for clean replacements, the waiter gave us a rude facial expression and dragged his feet to complete the task. -The food was awful. We came in a week prior to the event for food tasting and requested adjustments to flavour/spice for several of the dishes that we had selected. For example, the paneer makhani was too sweet and the makhani too watery. The restaurant agreed to make the adjustment. However, on the day of the event it was as if our request had fallen on def ears. Nothing had changed. -The chaat papri appetizer had french fries and potato chips. I am of Indian decent and I can confirm that french fries and potato chips are not ingredients in this dish. This was not the case on the day of the tasting but was the case on the day of the event. -The bhindi bhaji dish was not fully cooked on the day of the event. -One of the dishes we had selected was not presented on the day of the event. Instead another dish was placed in its place. -The women's washroom was dirty with paper towel scattered about the sinks, a crumbled cookie on the floor and an odd smell. Net net - do not waste your time and money. Mumbai Sapphire does not pass even the most basic tests of food service.
