During COVID this is the WORST place to order from. Rude, rushed, make mistakes & blame it on you even when the thing they say you o is something you are allergic to! Girl wasted more time arguing than it took to correct. Cut me off talking, put me on hold 5x (probably hoping Id will hang up) & said call back we are busy & gotta go gotta go we are busy. Stop to get it right then. Being busy is no excuse to be rude esp when prepaid. Will never order again. Foods not worth it- Lais plz open
I have eaten at the Far East since the '70s .... The food is always fresh. Served quickly even when they are busy. Chicken balls actually are full of chicken .. not like other places. Serving staff are always friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone .... and I have many times.
I have been a very loyal customer to Far East for years. We order take out almost every week once a week. I always leave a generous tip!
I went in tonight and ordered some food for my family for my husbands birthday. It's his favorite kind of food, and he's been working really hard.. So I wanted to surprise him and the kids.
When I got home, I picked the take out bags up from my passenger car seat, and the bottom of the bag ripped open (being soaked with sauce), leaking sweet and sour sauce absolutely everywhere. Due to it ripping, the two containers that were in it fell out, one of them busting open. I noticed the bottom of one had a huge chunk missing, which what causes the leak in the first place.
The food was completely everywhere, and definitely not eatable. I called Far East to explain what happened and I got an incredibly rude response :
"Once you leave the restaurant, not my problem."
I explained that this container had a hole in the bottom and that it wasn't my fault... I simply carried the bags from the restaurant to my car, and they were sitting perfectly upward on the seat. I said I was a loyal customer and had been coming for years. She told me it was not her issue and that there was nothing they could do.
I will absolutely never order here again, and I'll be sure to tell all my friends and family about this poor customer service.
This is one of our favourite restaurants. We've never eaten in so I rated the atmosphere as only four stars because I've only seen it from the waiting room. It looks fine but I can't give it a 5 unless I've had to be seated. But for takeout, this restaurant is great. The service is very good, the food is reasonably priced and it's great. We order from there a few times a year and it's a New Year's Eve tradition if we're not going out for the evening.
Simple basic good food at a good price. Fast always good service. Decor/ tables are very dated but always clean. Rice is a little salty. Sweet/Sour sauce is more on the sour side but still good.
I've eaten here many times and love the food but the sweet and sour spare ribs are nothing but breaded chunks of grizzle! Aside from that the food and service is awesome!
In town for march break, the family decided to try this restaurant. Best idea of the week. Our server was great and really knew the menu. Really catered to our young kids. Two thumbs ups for the wonton soup, had mushrooms and bbq pork as well as great wonton noddles. Server brought chow mein noodles for the kids.
Main course came and it was so much food, the tray of rice was heaping daring me to serve it without making a mess. The wife really liked the broccoli and i have to agree it was very tasty. The chicken balls went over well with the kids, even though the sauce wasn't the florescent red you get at most places. The best for me was the orange beef that was other worldly, crisp, tender, tangy even a little hot in every bite. We are already looking forward to next time and a recommendation of house chicken from the helpful server.

Above all, I must agree with what Bill Liu said below. Foods I had at this restaurant was the WORST chinese foods ever. Especially, those spare ribs(?) they serve must be a joke. I can't even explain how bad they were. Yikes! Their sweet & sour chicken balls had this weird smell too.
I will never go back there, ever again.

This restaurant is inexpensive, and offers both Canadian menu items (eg. fish and chips) and Chinese dishes. However, I should say if you are used to authentic Chinese food, you would probably have to request something in particular as that is not what is typically on the menu. The food is mostly Canadian-Chinese. The portions are very generous. I would like to see them add Hot and Sour soup to their soup menu and also some hotter (spicier) options in their single order (numbered) meals. The decor is very modest and both the interior and the exterior could use some beautification (ie. freshening up). There is a step at the front door that could be marked better for the number of older people that are in the restaurant and the walk out front is not always kept free of ice. That said, I would recommend this restaurant to people looking for casual dining. Our server, who I overheard speaking French to some customers, was very friendly.
The food was excellent. The portion size was generous and the price was right. It was fast, friendly and efficient service. We would definitely visit again.
This restaurant was recommend to me by friends. It was by far the best chinese food we have ever eaten. The waitresses were pleasant and friendly and the prices were very affordable.
I am from BC and recently moved to the Niagara Region. This restaurant was recommended by friends from out West that have visited on their vacations. Since i heard so much about it, I had to try it out for myself and I must say that it is everything that I heard it would be and more. The food was out of this world and the atmosphere was friendly and helpful. The staff seemed to be proud of the establishment and they had their own favorite dishes that they were more than happy to recommend. I make sure that everytime I talk to friends back in BC that I mention the food that I had at Far East. I know it makes them a little jealous and perhaps it'll get them to come out for a visit soon. I give this restaurant an overall mark of 10.

The House Special Chicken was worth the trip to Niagara Falls and I can't wait to visit again!

Very Generous Servings, Food is prepared to order,IE:- If you want chicken fried rice without the chicken, just ask, They do not have large pans of food pre cooked and just waiting to be scooped out, Their fish and chips are lightly battered, and not to greasy, Their prices are very reasonable, Great take out service.

We were visiting Niagara Falls from out of town and found this restaurant on the Internet. We chose this restaurant because it received the rating of 9.9 out of 10. After having dinner there, I must conclude that the ratings were either by the owner or by people who know nothing about Chinese food. (it is most likely by the owner)
The food at this restaurant is horrible!!! Don't waste your money there!!! Any fastfood joint is 10 times better!!!
