After working overseas in Barbados, Jack Benzacar came home to chilly Toronto and bought a condo downtown. The weather reminded him that it was time to get some winter tires, and that’s when the idea for his company, TireButler, hit. “There were no auto services around anywhere near me,” recalls Jack, who dreaded the idea of driving all the way out to the suburbs for tires. “I thought, I wish someone would drive a truck to me and just take care of my car.”
The more he thought about it, the clearer it became: so many people could use this service. “Just think of the convenience. No one wants to drag the kids to a dirty garage and sit there drinking stale coffee for an hour and a half flipping through old magazines while they wait for new tires,” Jack says. And now, no one has to.
