The staff and atmosphere were very nice. The food however, was very disappointing. The beef hamburger and the veggie burger were both sooo dry. There was not one drop of juice on the plate. The beef was over cooked and had next to no seasoning or spices or herbs added to it. The French fries were also extremely dry. I would not recommend this restaurant for the those two dishes.
We usually go every few months and are always impressed with the great service, no matter the server. The food is up there with some of the best restaurants we have ever experienced (and we are foodies). Presentation always outstanding. Thoroughly enjoy this restaurant, and heartily recommend. The Chef's tasting experience is a Real Treat.
meal was very good and the atmosphere also good. didn't really like walking through the kitchen but, lived through it. The really tall waiter was extremely pleasant and made the experience great. bit pricy for me though.

My husband and I have eaten at One 99 several times now and it is in my opinion the best restaurant in Orangeville. I have never had a bad meal there unlike many other local restaurants. After every time I dine there, I am left craving more of their fablous food. The service is very attentive and you feel waited on hand and foot. It's so nice to go out and be pampered by the service. The food is always creative and the taste unmatched anywhere else. You must experience fine dining like this! It's so good!
In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Orangeville. It was on par with some fine restaurants in Toronto at a much more reasonble price. Not a cheap meal but well worth it. Nice decor, great service and great food without going out of town.

One99 had come recommended by the other two members of our party. We went for an early dinner and were very impressed. Great ambiance. Good selection of menu items and specials. Service was friendly and prompt. Portion sizes were more than sufficient. Compares very well against anything in Toronto. Strongly recommend it.
probably my fifth time at this restaurant and definatly not the last. I dont get how people can give false reveiws about this restaurant is one of the best values outside of toronto. See you at christmas for a tasting menu guys.
Very good restaurant. Too good for Orangeville. It's funny how everyone is complaining about portion sizes: the portions here are much larger than in comparable restaurants in Toronto. Easily the most sophisticated place in town.
little Orangeville wow, One99 is a gem in this little town. This is one of the finest restuarants that are located in an out of the way town. The food is sophiscated and the presentation is artistic. coming from toronto, One99 is truly a must see!

This was our third time visiting one99 and it was amazing once again. the tuna with soya foam and fresh grated wasabi root "amazing". Lamb sirloin was great too very different from the normal rack, but way more tender. Thanks for great meal Chef.
Once again i can't get enough of this chefs food!! scallops with honey mushrooms and chocolate crusted bison main course. WOW who else does this kind of food outside of T.O. Awesome once again guys. Ill be back soon.

We were a bit nervous to try this restaurant based on the reviews we had read on this website. As it turned out there was absolutely no reason to be nervous. The comments from others about small portions could not be further from the truth.
We found that the quantity and quality of the food to be nothing short of excellent. We both had appetizers and a main course. The main course by itself would have filled us up.
We also disagree with those who suggest that the food at One 99 is overpriced. We found instead that it was very reasonably priced. We had drinks, wine, appetizers and main course for $137.00. This is exceptional value, especially when you consider the quality of the food.
The food was excellent, the martinis were excellent, the service was exceptional.

Incredible. This is the only word that comes to mind when trying to describe the entire experience at One99. From the greeting by the General Manager at the door to the suprise at how small your bill is on the way out, One99 does it all.
The food is fantastic and original in design, the service is impeccable without being pretentious and the decor is perfect. If reserving for a group, asked to be seated in the wine room on the second floor. You will have an amazing view of the main floor through the glass wall and you have the added "fun" of walking through the kitchen area to be seated (where everyone working actually stops to greet you as you pass).
I cannot say enough about One99, it outdoes any chic Toronto restaurant that I have visited, with prices that don't bring up feelings of being mugged when the cheque comes. A true 10++.
