Installing ductless units in an older home can be challenging, but the crew NovelCare sent out to do the install did A LOT OF DAMAGE to our baseboards and walls in our living room and home office. What's EVEN WORSE is how the company responded to us after. They basically ignored us. We asked over a period of weeks to speak to someone in management - and they refused to pass on our concerns. We went to the Better Business Bureau and they were not truthful with BBB. Take your business elsewhere!

This was a stress free experience. The estimator made an appointment... showed up on time and explained all of my options fully. I decided to purchase our Multi Zone ductless air conditioner system from NovelCare. On install day the installers showed up on time and installed the our ductless system as described. The estimator followed up with me after the install to ensure all went well. I would have no problem recommending Novelcare.

Novel Care has come to my rescue a number of times over the years. At least four different heating and cooling work in my home and they have all been highly-skilled, intelligent, polite and professional. My home is an older character house that requires an experienced and delicate hand. The techs are always very careful to explain in detail what could possibly go wrong (although nothing ever has) so that I can make informed decisions.

Could not get any after-hours support

Our AC broke during the weekend @ +35C outside (30C + 80% humidity = 42C inside). We called the company service line 6 times, same response - we've paged the techs, our procedure does not require them to get back to us. No one called us back. When I asked to find a supervisor, they became very rude and hang up on me. I was stuck with the company since I have extended warranty here. I have no choice but to give it up and go to a reputable firm. It became too risky to rely on Airtech/Novel care.

6 days of terror working with these guys. During winter storme, gave us the wrong diagnosis of our furnace problem, sent us wrong parts even though we told them multiple times to make sure they sourced the right part. Refused to help us despite assuring us they would fix our heating problem. Didn't honour the warranty and their suppliers don't even care to deal with them leaving everyone hanging for 72 hours.

Office Ductless AC Unit

We needed a new AC unit for our office but we didn't want to go through the old system. So we got a new ductless AC unit which wasn't cheap, but definitely worth it. The staff were very professional and took their time to explain the process and costs to us so we understood what we were paying for. I highly recommend them, especially since they are always on time!

Ductless Air Conditining Unit Installation

I start searching for a company a few days ago to install a ductless air conditioning unit in my office. I found Air Tech and a few other companies. I gave all of them all a call to find out the prices and overall service, at least at the receptionist. By far Air Tech has a much high quality support and response time compared to other companies. Their prices also matched all of the other companies, so that was fair. They were very professional and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an AC unit installed ASAP. I usually don't do reviews, but for these guys it was worth my time, that says a lot.
