When Toronto’s high society craves French Bistro cuisine, they head to what has been Toronto’s go-to spot since 2011: La Société. Toronto restauranteur Charles Khabouth opened the bustling restaurant in the heart of Yorkville with the same commitment to service that is on display at his other successful ventures like CUBE, Cabana Pool Bar and Bisha Hotel Toronto. Charles also works with ICONINK CEO Hanif Harji on joint ventures including restaurants like FIGO, Patria, Weslodge and Estia.
“We try to make sure every person who comes in to dine with us gets the best service and experience we can possibly give them,” says chef Andrew Wilson.
La Société caters to the specific needs of those who work and visit the area. “At lunch time, we need to be more cognizant because people need to be in and out,” Andrew explains. “You see a big change in the two services. Lunch is very quick, everybody needs their food within the hour to get back to the office. Dinner is more relaxed. Somebody can be here for an hour or they can be here the whole night if they want.”
