Odile Chocolat is a boutique chocolate shop owned and operated by premier chocolatier Odile Chatelain. Odile sources high-quality, sustainable ingredients to create elegant truffles, dairy-free chocolate bark, hot chocolate and candied fruit.
The bright and airy shop opened on Dundas West in 2009. Truffles sit on display under glass, carefully arranged and beautifully decorated. Odile crafts each truffle individually in-house, with a passion for quality and an eye for detail. Odile also candies her own fruit.
“My mother taught me how to make chocolate when I was a child in France,” says Odile. “I work with only dark chocolate and origin chocolate. And I work the traditional French way. I do everything in-house and each truffle is dipped individually by hand.”
