This place is awful. I took my cat there late one night because she was very sick. She needed to be put down. We were put in a room near the front entrance and the door was left open. I would have thought that since they knew my cat was about to be put down and that it was a very sad moment for me, that they would have closed the door and have been respectful. First off, we are from Ohio. We were in town for the weekend visiting family for Thanksgiving. Our dog became very ill late Friday night/early Saturday morning (10/06/18). We drove to Lauzon Veterinary Hospital around 2:00am (maybe earlier) and waited for the tech to acknowledge us. Not like someone coming in at that time would be an emergency or anything – no big deal (hopefully you can sense the sarcasm here). After about a 10 minute wait for him to finish on the phone talking about boarding a
Thankyou for your care when i put down my long time friend an companion cat Thumper,i have her ashes an will always have a special place in my heart.Thumper an her sister snow were both spayed there an my knew kitten Cleo will be coming to see your staff soon.
Very cold, rude staff who made me feel like my emergency was a bother to them. Vet was argumentative and refused to treat without an agreement to payment up front, but the price was way more expensive than other vets. Made me feel like I was imagining my cat's sickness, but when I took her to another vet for a second opinion, she was diagnosed with a serious kidney problem. Would *never* go back.
The Veterinarians and staff at Lauzon are very knowledgeable and caring. They always go the extra step to keep me and my animals happy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
