Sprouted is a mobile startup in Riverside that delivers lovingly crafted organic, vegan meals right to your door. In addition to being egg- and dairy-free, the menu is also plant-based, paleo, gluten-free, soy-free, and mostly raw. With her background in kinesiology and nutrition, owner Sonya Tanzos knows that food can heal the body, but she’s made sure that Sprouted’s menu still hosts some all-time favourites (like pad thai and lasagna!). The weekly subscription is a great way to cut down on stress and keep yourself nourished during a busy work week.

An ideal option for those looking to order into the office, Kupfert and Kim is a testament that food can be fast and healthy. The menu offers a number of vegan and gluten-free options, including all-day breakfast. Dishes are packed with superfoods – Harvey’s Supersalad is chock full of mung beans, goji berries, hemp, chia and pumpkin seeds. They specialize in simple, organic whole plant foods and juices. Their menu offers a wide selection of high energy, colour rich juice blends from their ‘liquid farmacy’. For lunch, try their signature raw avocado and cashew cheese sandwich or the Queen West curry. But be warned- the cashew cheese has a reputation for being highly addictive.
