My wife and I both now love "The Duck".
I had the pizza and wings and I was not disappointed. They are both easily the beat I've ever eaten this side of the border. The wings are large and crispy and the pizza has a nice thin crust and tons of cheesy goodness.
My wife had the Blue Cheese Burger and when it arrived we both marveled at how massive the homemade patty was. She also couldn't stop commenting on how great the homemade blue cheese sauce and handcut fries were.
The service was great (the waitress was hilarious and had us both in stitches) and they we're also showing the hockey game on a huge TV in HD!
I would highly recommend this fine and historied establishment to anyone looking for exceptional food at a great price.

I have been coming to Frescos for many many years, with family and friends. The staff is very friendly and I look forward to the same quality of food and service every visit. I love the Asiago Quesadilla...it is a meal by itself. The crab dumplings are very good, and if it was real crab, they would be at least twice the price, so I am not quite sure why there are people complaining. This is a simple appetizer, not a gourmet seafood dish. The mushroom ravioli is fantastic, and be sure to leave room for dessert!! Enjoyable experience every time!!

Garlic bread almost killed me. I've never had so much garlic dripping all over the bread. It didn't taste right and did not sit well all day. Chicken is always good. They need to change their fries. Nice bar area, always clean, can get very crowded.

After seeing the horror of the Subway on Ontario St, we came to this location and I could not be happier. The people were friendly, they made the subs fast, and the food did not look like it was diseased. It looked fresh! so yes...you can eat fresh here!

I'm a frequent visitor of Bleu Turtle. The chef and staff are always courteous! I think one more server would be beneficial - but I usually come to catch up with a friend and don't mind the wait.
I order the smoked salmon tart EVERY time. I just can't seem to have anything else - I love it so much! I have tried their pork belly and it's amazing. I haven't heard a complaint from any of my dining partners about their meals. Only praise!
Pricier than your regular greasy spoon - but definitely worth the price. Appropriate portions and real homemade food that you feel good about eating. Go!

I actually went to a different place first.....Smiling Fish Co. and because of such terrible customer service I decided to come to Joey's and I am so happy I did. The girl said Hi to me the min I walked in the door. I told her I was ordering for take out and she made some suggestions and took my order. I didn't have to wait that long and while waiting I was really impressed with the service they offer their patrons. When my order was ready the lady asked if I got my Christmas gift...I got a break open discount card for Jan. The food was really yummy and exactly what I was looking for. I will be returning to use my discount card in Jan and I am happy the other place didn't want my business!

I think the stars aligned when I went to Swiss Chalet a while back (more than a year ago). As always, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy without being stuffy or drab, and the service was quick (so quick I barely blinked and my food was there!). We had an AMAZING server who was around without hovering, and our food, as I said, was out within five minutes of ordering. This was, by far, the best service I have ever received in any restaurant. The server, in particular, was just absolutely incredible. She refiilled our water glasses when they were nearing empty, and it was like she was telepathic: she came with more napkins when things got a little bit messy! Overall, phenomenal. I wish I could remember the server's name, but it's been a while.
