Difficult experience
In the spring we brought our dog to this daycare. We wanted to get him at least one full day of social play with other dogs during the week. I informed them that I specifically wanted him to have a social interaction and stimulation while attending. I specified that I wanted to know if he had any questionable behaviour the moment it happened. Every day we picked him up we asked how he behaved. And every day we were told he was perfect and so well behaved. We were that he was such a good dog. I was informed that it has been “common practice” to isolate my dog every day. So I paid for months to have him be by himself. He had to spend the day listening to the other dogs playing. This is the exact opposite of what I wanted. They mentioned that they may use a number of calming techniques and that isolation would be a last resort. Surely contacting me about his behaviour should have been an option. They have no incident reports or documentation as to why they did this. The waiver does not state that they can charge me for services that were the complete opposite of what I requested. The customer service by owner has been difficult to communicate with. I received an email response containing a list of my spelling errors. Not the issue! I was informed that it is my responsibility to track down the previous owner to get my refund.
