My wife and I are sushi and sashimi fanatics. After going to all of the sushi restaurants in Burlington this is by far the best one in the city. We go atleast every 2-3 weeks and like the service very much. Tony the owner is an amazing sushi chef and very friendly. The weekends are really really busy so we try to get there at the slow times so the food and service are at the best. I would highly recomend any of their rolls and you have to try the AGEDESHI TOFU it is melt in your mouth goodness! Only dish I was dissapointed in was the "red snapper tataki" tastes great, but the portion is small comparing to what you get with the other similar priced items.
I eat here every two weeks, and whether I'm eating there or taking it home, they are always very nice. When I call to make an order, it doesn't matter who answers the phone, they are alays very friendly. I went with a friend of mine who had never had sushi before, and the staff was so excited! They went through the menu with her, helped her decide what would be the best choice (and they weren't the most exesive things on the menu), and then they gave us a mini lesson on how to properly eat your sushi! The sushi is the best you're going to find in the area, and I crave it all the time! Highly recommended.
The fiance and I order takeout from here often, but this specific visit impressed the harshest critic of all - my sister.
The food was incredibly tasty (as always) and my sister didn't even ask for a new glass or silver ware! The dining room is small and cozy and the servers are delightful and awfully cute. Please try the Love Boat with your significant other!
I was extremely pleased with the quality and freshenss of the food. The service was also superb. If you have the chance make a stop to Mikado for the experience. I highly recommend it
I have been to every Japanese restaurant in Burlington and this is definitely the best. Food's a little pricey but definitely worth it. Sushi is always fresh, never disappointing. Been here lots and I highly recommend it.
