Violet Bloom’s Fresh Flowers Inc. has been serving the residents of Pickering since 1995, offering “longer lasting flowers at affordable prices”. They are family owned and operated by Kelly & Brad Graham since March, 2001. After graduating from the University of Guelph with a diploma in horticulture, Kelly received her certification from the Canadian Institute of Floral Design & the Flowers Canada Design program, gaining valuable knowledge of the floral industry. Kelly was first employed by Violet Bloom’s in the fall of 1999 and jumped at opportunity to purchase the store two years later.

Flowers are a special touch for any occasion, and when buying flowers you want to be able to see what you are getting. This is what sets Violet Bloom’s Fresh Flowers apart. The focal point of the store is a large walk-in cooler with rows of bunched flowers, bouquets and vase arrangements to choose from. Customers can mix and match bunched flowers to create their own bouquets, or select a pre-made mixed bouquet.

“We have a great team of creative designers that focus on customer service,” says owner Kelly Graham. “We like to make each customer’s experience more personal. There is always a large inventory of long lasting seasonal and year-round flowers available for purchase.”

Locals agree that the store is perfect for a quick walk-in stop on the way home to pick up flowers or to place a local delivery for the next day.
