This is my all time favourite mexican restaurant. The service is always amazing and the food is the best I've tasted outside of Mexico. When people come to visit is we always bring them here for dinner. I have been about 10 times since moving here in the summer and have never had a bad experience.
We have visted Bella Jacks many, many times - mostly my husband and I make this a Saturday lunch date.
The staff can often seem pre-occupied or rushed, but overall there's great music, good drinks, excellent food -- for the price, it's a good casual dining experience.

I love the atmosphere of this place, love the dim lighting and it makes me feel like i am NOT in St. THomas, which is nice. I have been multiple times, probably over 20 times. The pina coladas are GREAT, the best I have ever had. The only complaint here is the service. Although most of the servers are happy there is one inparticular that seems angry all the time and service sometimes seems a little slow. It seems as though they are always rushing around and running. Maybe they should hire more servers.

I enjoyed my food at Bella Jacks and especially the ambiance (with the Gypsy Kings in the background). I was slightly disappointed with the less than authentic (homemake) cooking. But the overall flavors were excellent and the portions were very generous. I would eat there again.
