Excellent food

I go to River Tai usually once every 2 weeks for pickup but I have eaten with friends inside the store. Seating is spacious and you have the feel of a old Chinese diner. The food is excellent, they prepare it quickly so wait time is very limited and the service is speedy and pleasant. I would recommend River Tai to anyone interested in old fashion Chinese style cooking.

the ambience of the restaurant is extremely welcoming. the food is excellent, not too greasy. watch out for the trebuchet in front of the washrooms

This restaurant is a nice quiet place to dine...

This restaurant is a nice quiet place to dine. Not the mass produced commercialized chinese style food, instead it's more the home cooked chinese food that you will find from home. Not surprising considering it is a family business, it won't be a surprise to see the whole family helping out sometimes!
